The colors have been inspired by European 18th-century furniture and 20th-century paintwork and have been made bright and rich, bearing in mind that they will be darkened with wax or made paler with the addition of one of the whites from the range. Like all Annie Sloan paints the colors have been mixed in such a way that allows mixing and being lighted a layering without the colors dulling.
