Meet the Canons
Hi! We are the Canons- Andrea and Corey. We are Baltimore natives who decided to move down the Eastern shore for a fresh start.
Soon after we moved into our Berlin home, we developed a Chalk Paint® hobby. We had been shopping at Salvaged for years and finally decided to pick up some paint on a visit. We were familiar with Salvaged because Michelle is a close family friend and we loved decorating our new home with pieces from their shop. Corey became addicted to Chalk Paint® very quickly, he found it to be very therapeutic. Corey had worked in the underground pipeline industry for 9 years and Andrea worked in the insurance industry for 10 years.
We both craved a change in our careers and always dreamed of having our own business. Berlin is such an inspiring town to live in and we felt the entrepreneurial spirit all around us. When we discovered the beautiful building on Artisan’s way was available, we felt it was time to jump into action. Michelle had expressed interest in the past about expanding their business to another location. So, we quickly reached out to Michelle to see if they were still interested and the rest of the story is history.
Michelle and Brynn have been amazingly helpful in sharing their expertise on Chalk Paint® and everything in the home furnishings world. Their success at Salvaged was inspirational and their drive was contagious.
Our family and friends, near and far, have been extremely supportive and we are so very appreciative for their love and support. We are so proud of what we have accomplished thus far.
We look forward to the evolution of House by Salvaged and to grow with the small town of Berlin!
